The modern world is deeply in need of healing. In the received teachings of the Reiki system, there is a principle that healing should be done only for an equal exchange of energy. There is a great deal of wisdom in this approach, but it can also be easily corrupted. The teachings of Ling Qi Dao are offered by donation in order to promote greater healing and Light in the world. Potential students are encouraged to offer a gift from their heart, equal to the gratitude that they feel for receiving the teachings. Healing treatments are also offered in this spirit for those dedicated to changing troubling patterns in their lives. These offerings are part of growing a new vision of medicine and healing - aligned with the ancient views of the Greek, Vedic, Chinese, and other schools - that healing is available to all people equally, that it is a right, and it is a gift that each of us can and should give to each other.
